As an ecumenical ministry, the Eliot Church draws from a variety of sources for its weekly worship services.  Some of these sources are Christian, some are from the other world religions and various philosophical traditions.  Typically, however, there is at least one scripture reading and there is usually a sermon.

Our Music Program is directed by Dr. Stephen James.

Finally, we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month between October and June.  This is an “Open Communion” service, meaning that all are welcome to participate regardless of theology or status in the church.  This reflects the church’s belief that worship is an experience for everyone, and that everyone has their own unique understanding of, and relationship to, the Divine.
