Amateur or professional, regardless of whether you use a smartphone camera or a 70D, you are cordially invited to enter your work in the 11th Oldtown Photo Calendar Competition - October, 2016. We want your photographs of "Oldtown" - the area around the bridge in South Natick, including parts of Dover, Wellesley, Sherborn, and Natick. Landscapes, wildlife, people - they're all fair game!
If one of your photographs wins, it will be included in the next Oldtown Calendar, and your work will be seen by hundreds of people in our community over the year. The calendar is used as a fundraising tool for local nonprofit groups, but that's not all. Other benefits from this project include a chance for local photographers to meet each other and show their work, and a real sense that folks in the community, through your photographs and the competition itself, have a deeper appreciation of the place in which we live.
The Calendar Competition is a featured venue of the Natick Open Studios weekend. With our new calendar on sale through many community groups, and lots of great publicity, we look forward to even more excitement this year.
The rules & registration forms for the competition are posted below (We'll update this when we get the chance, but in the mean time feel free to use these forms). The registration form is in Word, and can be opened on your screen, filled in, and the doc emailed back to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or you can print it out and mail it to the address on the form . Any questions, or to get on our email list, send an email to email@example.com .
