Dear Photographer:
You are cordially invited to enter your work in the 8th Oldtown Photo Calendar Competition in October, 2013.
If one of your photographs wins, it will be included in the next Oldtown Calendar, and your work will be seen by hundreds of people in our community over the year. The calendar is used as a fundraising tool for local nonprofit groups, but that's not all. Other benefits from this project include a chance for local photographers to meet each other and show their work, and a real sense that folks in the community, through your photographs and the competition itself, have a deeper appreciation of the place in which we live.
In 2012 30 photographers entered, and over 150 visitors voted for their favorites that are now in our new calendar! The Calendar Competition is a featured venue of the Natick Open Studios weekend. With our new calendar on sale through many community groups, and lots of great publicity, we look forward to even more excitement this year.
The rules & registration forms for the competition are posted below. These are the 2012 forms, but the 2013 information will be pretty much the same. The registration form is in Word, and can be opened on your screen, filled in, and the doc emailed back to oldtowncalendar@verizon.net. Or you can print it out and mail it in .
